ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Jordan Sugars scored 25 points and Navy defeated Colgate 75-55 Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams.

The win gave Navy (11-19, 6-8 Patriot League) an identical conference record with Lehigh and Lafayette, both of which lost Saturday. Tiebreakers give Lehigh the fourth seed, and it will host Navy, the fifth seed and a team it swept this season, in the Patriot quarterfinals on Wednesday. Lafayette is sixth.

The Midshipmen swept the season series from Colgate (7-22, 4-10), which lost its third in a row, its fifth in the last six games and will be seeded seventh.

Sugars made 9 of 13 shots. Despite being outrebounded 35-27, the Midshipmen took 13 more shots than the Raiders, thanks to 14 steals. Colgate committed 22 turnovers to Navy’s nine.

J.J. Avila and Greg Brown each had 12 points, and Brown had four steals.

Yaw Gyawu led Colgate with 12 points.
