GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Cameron Rundles scored 17 points and Wofford defeated Furman 79-65 on Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Wofford locked up the No. 2 seed in the South Division of the Southern Conference and heads into the league tournament with a five-game winning streak.
Tim Johnson had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Noah Dahlman and Brad Loesing each had 10 points for the Terriers (18-12, 14-4), who outscored Furman 18-8 on second-chance points. The Terriers held a 35-23 rebounding edge.
The Terriers used a 15-6 run early in the second half to grab a 54-37 lead with 14:37 to play. The lead stayed above 13 points the rest of the way and the Terriers built their largest advantage at 77-57 at the 2:58 mark.
Darryl Evans scored 14 points and Brandon Sebirumbi added 13 for the Paladins (20-9, 12-6), who have lost two straight and finished third in the South Division.
