DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Chris Wright had 17 points and 14 rebounds and Dayton overcame a 12-point early deficit to defeat New Mexico 76-73 in double overtime Saturday.

Paul Williams opened the second overtime period with a 3-pointer to give Dayton (12-3) a 74-71 lead, and Wright added two foul shots. That was enough as the Lobos (11-3) were 0 for 4 from the field and 2 for 6 from the free-throw line in the second OT.

Williams and Josh Parker added 16 points apiece and Chris Johnson 15 for Dayton, which has won five straight. The Flyers have won three games this season after trailing by double digits.

New Mexico led 33-21 at the 4:04 mark and 38-32 at halftime.

After the Flyers rallied to lead 64-58 with 3:54 left, the Lobos ended regulation on a 6-0 run.

Dairese Gary, whose layup knotted the first overtime, scored 19 points to lead New Mexico, which has lost two of its last three.
