MURRAY, Ky. (AP) — Justin Blake scored 15 points, hitting five 3-pointers, and Austin Peay held off a late Murray State rally in a 66-64 win on Saturday.

Caleb Brown scored 12 points, dished out seven assists but had six turnovers for the Governors (12-6, 5-0 Ohio Valley Conference), who held a 15-point lead, 61-46, with 9:36 left in the second half.

The Racers (10-5, 3-2) outscored Austin Peay 16-4 over the next seven minutes, cutting the lead to 65-62 on a 3-pointer by Isaiah Canaan, who finished with 14 points. Isacc Miles also had 14 points for Murray State, while Jewuan Long pitched in with 11 points.

Canaan’s two free throws trimmed the margin to two points with 22 seconds left. The Racers had a chance to win the game, but B.J. Jenkins’ 3-point attempt missed as time expired to preserve the win for Austin Peay.
