SEATTLE (AP) — Washington coach Lorenzo Romar confirms that one of his players is the subject of a police investigation, but declined to go into details regarding the player involved or if there would be any discipline from the team.

Romar says Tuesday that the allegation is being taken very seriously but “there is not nearly enough information at this point to determine what’s going to be done here.” Romar says all healthy players will practice and make the upcoming road trip to the Bay Area.

The university issued a statement Monday night confirming it had learned of a police investigation based on allegations surrounding a current student-athlete at the school.

The 17th-ranked Huskies are at Stanford on Thursday and at California on Sunday.
