WOODLAND — Courtney Altflish, Kory Grell and Jessica Watts were selected as the Woodland Planters Days court for 2011. The three young women were chosen from 13 contestants on Jan. 13. The Woodland community festival was first held in 1922 to celebrate the completed construction of the dikes along the Columbia and Lewis Rivers preventing the annual flooding in the Woodland area.
