CHEWELAH, Wash. (AP) — Even though a school bus had chains on its tires it slid sideways on a Stevens County road Friday morning near Chewelah and ended up in the ditch at a 45-degree angle.
KREM reports the driver and six elementary school students are OK.
The Valley School District sent another bus to take them to school.
