East Tennessee State beats Jacksonville 74-62

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Micah Williams scored 21 points and had four steals to lead East Tennessee State to a 74-62 win over Jacksonville on Saturday.

Justin Tubbs finished with 16 points and eight rebounds for the Buccaneers (12-7, 7-1 Atlantic Sun Conference), who won their seventh straight game. Adam Sollazzo had 11 points and six assists, while Isiah Brown added 11 points.

The Dolphins trimmed ETSU’s lead to 39-34 on Delwan Graham’s free throw with 18:26 left in the second half. But the Buccaneers, who never trailed, answered with an 11-5 run and later took a 66-53 lead on Sollazzo’s two free throws with 3:14 left to pull away.

ETSU shot 54.2 percent (26 of 48) from the floor for the game, holding Jacksonville to 33.3 percent (21 of 63).

Travis Cohn scored 18 points for the Dolphins (11-5, 5-2). Ayron Hardy had 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Graham had 12 points.
