Northwestern State 80, Central Arkansas 79, OT

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Will Pratt scored 30 points and Devon Baker forced overtime, then put Northwestern State ahead to stay in an 80-79 victory over Central Arkansas on Saturday.

Baker scored 13 points, the most important of which consisted of two free throws that forged a 73-73 tie with 3 seconds left. He then sank a jumper 31 seconds into overtime that gave the Demons the lead for good.

Pratt hit 11 of 17 shots, including 3 3-pointers, for the Demons (10-8, 2-1 Southland Conference). Shamir Davis added 12 points, and William Mosley grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds and blocked four shots.

Imad Qahwash scored 19 points to pace the Bears (4-12, 0-3), who lost their fourth in a row. Tadre Sheppard added 13 and Mark Rutledge 11, and Mike Pouncy had five assists and three steals.

Central Arkansas led 62-52 with 7:50 left before the Demons came back.
