Bowling Green defeats Miami (Ohio) 62-53

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) — A’uston Calhoun scored 11 points to lead four players in double figures as Bowling Green rallied in a 62-53 win over Miami (Ohio) on Sunday.

The Falcons (7-10, 2-1 Mid-American Conference) scored 21 points off 20 turnovers by the RedHawks, who committed four during a key stretch late in the first half.

After Miami (7-10, 2-1) jumped out to a 14-4 lead, Bowling Green used a 13-3 run to tie it at 17 with 8:29 to go until halftime.

After the RedHawks took a 20-17 lead with 7:14 to play in the first half, the Falcons scored 10 straight to go into halftime leading 27-20. Luke Kraus’ 3-pointer with 1:33 to go capped the spurt, which featured four Miami turnovers.

Scott Thomas, Kraus and Jordan Crawford added 10 points each for Bowling Green, which led the rest of the way.

Orlando Williams led the RedHawks with 14 points and Antonio Ballard added 12.
