HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) — Nick Pascale scored 14 points and Mike Venezia hit two free throws with 7 seconds remaining as Colgate defeated Dartmouth 67-64 in a nonconference game on Monday.

The Raiders (2-15), who lost 80-63 at Dartmouth earlier this season, led 47-32 with 13:47 remaining after a dunk by Pascale capped a 12-2 run in which he scored eight points.

Starting with two 3-pointers by Tyler Melville, the Big Green (4-11) cut Colgate’s lead to one, 65-64, on Jabari Trotter’s 3-pointer with 19 seconds remaining.

After a Colgate timeout, Dartmouth fouled Venezia and his free throws provided the final 3-point margin. R.J. Griffin was unable to hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer for Dartmouth.

Venezia and Yaw Gyawu finished with 11 points for Colgate, which outrebounded Dartmouth 37-23.

Trotter scored 14 points, Griffin 13 and Melville 12 for the Big Green.
