BALTIMORE (AP) — The Baltimore Orioles have agreed to terms on one-year contracts for shortstop J.J. Hardy, outfielders Adam Jones and Felix Pie, and right-handed reliever Jim Johnson.

The sides avoided arbitration with Tuesday’s agreements.

Hardy will receive $5.85 million, Jones agreed to $3.25 million and Pie will get $985,000. Johnson settled for $975,000, more than twice the $440,000 he earned last season.

Hardy, obtained in an offseason trade with Minnesota, earned $5.1 million last season. He batted .268 with six homers and 28 RBIs.

Jones earned $465,000 last year, when he hit .284 with 19 home runs and 68 RBIs.

Pie played in 82 games with Baltimore last season, batting .274 with five homers and 31 RBIs. He earned $420,000.

Johnson went 1-1 with a 3.42 ERA during an injury-plagued season.
