The students of the Clark County Skills Center are getting ready to show their stuff — and serve some great food.

On Friday, the Skills Center Restaurant Management and Culintary Arts program will host its first gourmet dinner of 2011. The Winter Faire dinner is a five-course feast planned, prepared, hosted and served by students at the Skills Center Restaurant.

On the menu are chicken chasseur, twice-baked potatoes, glazed vegetables and a dessert of lemon torte, vanilla ice cream and white chocolate mousse. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Touch of Class restaurant, 12200 N.E. 28th St.

Tickets are $25 per person (half tax deductible) and must be purchased in advance. Call Robbin McColley at 360-604-1054 for reservations.
