MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings have announced the primary assistants to new coach Leslie Frazier, including Mike Singletary as special assistant to the head coach/linebackers coach.

The Vikings also announced on Wednesday that Bill Musgrave will be the offensive coordinator, Mike Priefer (pre-fur) the special teams coordinator after two years in the same job with the Denver Broncos and Fred Pagac (pug-itch) will remain on the staff as defensive coordinator.

Singletary and new Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier are good friends dating back to their playing days with the Chicago Bears. Singletary spent most of the last three seasons as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers.

Musgrave was the quarterbacks coach in Atlanta last season. He replaces Darrell Bevell, who interviewed for the same job in Seattle on Wednesday.
