Misty River quartet to perform at benefit

VANCOUVER — Misty River, a folk-inspired acoustic quartet, will headline a benefit concert for Salmon Creek Kiwanis Club on March 13 at the Skyview High School auditorium. The performance will be the seventh concert the all-women quartet has performed for the Kiwanis. This year, for the first time, guitarist Doug Smith will be a guest performer. The concert, “Sing into Spring,” begins at 3 p.m. at the school, 1300 N.W. 139th St.

The club is partnering with Columbia Credit Union to produce the show. Tickets are on sale at all Columbia Credit Union branches and these retailers: Music World, 502 E. Main St., Battle Ground; Music World, 7916 N.E. Sixth Ave., Hazel Dell; Garside florist, 6610 E. Mill Plain Blvd.; River City Music, 13215 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd.; and Beacock Music, 1420 S.E. 163rd Ave. Advance-purchase price is $18, or two for $35; price at the door will be $20.
