Florida Atlantic beats Arkansas-Little Rock 88-71

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Kore White had 22 points and 11 rebounds, and Florida Atlantic beat Arkansas-Little Rock 88-71 on Saturday.

The win gives the Owls their first seven-game winning streak since 1990-91.

Four other players scored in double figures for the Owls (15-6, 7-0 Sun Belt Conference). Greg Gantt added 16 points, Alex Tucker added 14, Raymond Taylor 13 and Brett Royster 12.

The Owls led 42-37 at halftime and broke it open with a 9-2 run that stretched the lead to 84-67 after a 3-pointer by Tucker with 2:32 to play.

The Red Wolves made only 3 of 12 (25 percent) field goals in the second half. The hot-shooting Owls made 50 percent (29 of 58) of their field goal attempts, including going 8 of 19 (42.1 percent) from 3-point range.

Solomon Bozeman scored 26 points and Daylon Guy added 15 for the Red Wolves (12-10, 4-3), who had a four-game winning streak snapped.
