KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee officials say Volunteers junior forward Renaldo Woolridge did not commit any NCAA violation when he visited a Knoxville bar over the weekend.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reported Monday that Woolridge received exclusive access to a portion of New Amsterdam Bar and Grill free of charge early Sunday morning to film a music video.

Tennessee spokesman Jimmy Stanton says athletics officials interviewed Woolridge and the bar’s owner and general manager and found no violations. Woolridge, who raps under the name “Swiperboy,” visited an area in the bar open to the public looking for a location for a future video.

Vols officials determined there was no violation because student groups are allowed to use the area for free and the space was not blocked off for Woolridge’s private use on Sunday.
