TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — A’uston Calhoun scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Bowling Green to a 70-64 win over Toledo on Tuesday night.
The Falcons (9-11, 4-2 Mid-American Conference) shot just 31 percent (9 of 29) in the opening half but managed to enter halftime with a 27-21 lead.
Bowling Green improved to 58.3 percent from the floor (14 of 24) in the second half and never trailed after a layup from Reese Holliday tied it at 32 with 16:13 left to play.
Joe Jakubowski scored 16 points and Scott Thomas and Dee Brown added 11 apiece for Bowling Green.
