Award-winning documentary “Blue Gold” will be shown at 6 p.m. Thursday at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 12513 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd.

The movie is based on the book “Blue Gold: The Right to Stop the Corporate Theft of the World’s Water,” by Maude Barlow and Tony Clarke. “Blue Gold” examines the environmental and political implications of the planet’s dwindling water supply. After the free showing, Food and Water Watch Northwest organizer Julia DeGraw will talk about regional water issues and take questions.
