Camas council holding two-day planning conference

CAMAS — The Camas City Council is holding its annual planning conference today and Saturday at the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave. Today’s workshop is from 2 to 5 p.m.; Saturday’s is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Today’s agenda includes 2010 follow-ups (2:15 p.m.); Columbia River Crossing (2:30 p.m.); Camas Meadows master plan (3 p.m.); and budget and process (3:45 p.m.).

Saturday’s agenda includes parks blue-ribbon commission (9 a.m.); community development work plan and water system overview (9:30 a.m.); street funding needs and options (10:45 a.m.); emergency medical services (11 a.m.); community center update (noon); library strategic plan (12:15 p.m.); and public comments (12:30 p.m.).
