Penguins swept at Pierce




Clark College was swept in an Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges doubleheader Saturday at Pierce College in Lakewood.

Pierce men 68, Clark 53 — The Penguins dropped their second consecutive game and fell into a tie for fourth in the NWAACC West division.

Clark (10-7, 4-4) made just 9 of 29 shots in the second half and shot 38.6 percent for the game.

Max Snodderly and Lucas Swanson led the Penguins in scoring with 11 points each. Arman Kalan added 10.

Pierce women 62, Clark 59 — Kass Cloyd had 18 points and six rebounds, but the Penguins (7-9, 5-3) fell into a third-place tie in the NWAACC West standings with Pierce. Clara Russell added 12 points for Clark.
