2 injured in Walla Walla house fire

WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) -- Fire officials say two people who escaped a house fire out of a second-story window were seriously injured.
Capt. Todd Stubblefield told the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin that the blaze Monday morning caused major damage to the two-story house, a garage and a nearby home. Fire officials are investigating the cause.
He didn't have information on the condition of the man and woman who were injured.
