Southcliff — More than 40 volunteers removed around 100 square feet of English Ivy from South Cliff Park and Blandford Canyon on June 4.

This was the fourth Vancouver-Clark Parks & Recreation Annual Ivy pull in the area that began because Pat Douglass, a neighborhood resident and association member, worked to get people involved. She said this was the best volunteer ivy pull yet and credits Wells Fargo and Target employees and members of the Southcliff and DuBois Neighborhood Associations.

The goal is to eradicate the invasive non-native plant from the neighborhood.
