KENT, Wash. (AP) — The Kent Fire Department is blaming fireworks for fires that burned two homes.
Investigators are certain fireworks started one fire Monday afternoon. There was too much damage in the second fire around midnight for a definitive cause, but investigators say it was likely started by fireworks on the roof of a garage.
No one was injured. A family of three was displaced by the first fire and a family of five by the second fire.
