New Brownie troop donates blankets to Humane Society

Fisher-Mill Plain — Girl Scout Brownie Troop 45566 donated nearly 200 fleece blankets on June 21 to the Humane Society for Southwest Washington. The small blankets were handmade by the second- and third-graders for use in the cattery. The project helped the girls complete their Brownie Quest by making an impact in their local community. This is the troop’s first year together. Members of the troop are Zoey Hall, Ariel Winger, Faith Bergstrom, Maddison Devargas, Montana Hamilton, Becca Kullberg and Becky Strickland.
