Motorcyclist injured in collision near Lewisville Park

A La Center motorcyclist was injured Tuesday in a collision with a 1999 Ford Taurus on state Highway 503 at Northeast 269th Street, near Lewisville Park.
Raymond Kenneth Turney, 58, was listed in satisfactory condition Tuesday evening at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, a hospital employee said.
The driver of the Ford, Susan Ellyn Curry, 60, of Vancouver, was not reported injured, according to a bulletin from the Washington State Patrol.
About 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, the bulletin said, Curry was driving north and turned left onto 269th. Turney, who had been southbound, crashed into the right passenger side of the Ford.
Turney suffered a broken arm and hip, the bulletin said.
Curry was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way, the bulletin said.
Curry was wearing a seat belt, and Turney was wearing a helmet, troopers said.
