Three teenagers accused of shooting more than100 cats agreed Tuesday to postpone arraignment so that prosecutors can have more time to decide whether to try them as adults. The three were arrested the night of June 5 in Battle Ground in connection with a string of animal shootings in northern Clark County.

No. 4: Police: Woman is slain in Vancouver duplex

Vancouver police Monday night were investigating a homicide in a run-down duplex at 1006 S.E. Morgan Road, off Middle Way and just north of state Highway 14. Detective Sgt. Scott Creager said a woman was killed. He did not release a name or age. Police responded shortly before 7 p.m. to the crime scene in the Father Blanchet Park neighborhood.

No. 5: Deputies search for suspects after shooting in Vancouver

A shooting at a home in the Sunnyside neighborhood, north of Vancouver, resulted in one man being transported to an area hospital with a single gunshot wound. A 33-year-old male was transported to Southwest Washington Medical Center shortly after shots were fired. The man underwent surgery and was described by a Clark County Sheriff’s Office spokesman as “stable.”
