Small plane crash leaves 2 injured in SW Wash.

YACOLT, Wash. (AP) — A small plane has crashed near Yacolt, Wash., leaving two men with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash on Tuesday morning east of the Larch Corrections Center brought emergency responders from throughout southwest Washington.

The four-seat private plane clipped tree tops as it crash-landed in a gravel pit. Yacolt is about 30 miles northeast of Portland, Ore.

Two men taken from the scene were transported to Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. They have not yet been identified.

Firefighters sprayed foam on the crash site after they found a small fuel leak.
