PHOENIX (AP) — Amazon.com Inc. is in a celebratory mood, and Arizona officials are happy to oblige.
Gov. Jan Brewer’s office says she will be among city and state officials participating in a celebration Thursday at the Seattle-based online retailer’s newest facility in Arizona.
Amazon now has three distribution centers in Arizona, all located on the west side of the Phoenix area.
Brewer’s office says the ceremony Thursday celebrates Amazon’s “thousands of jobs and substantial investment” in the area.
