ATLANTA (AP) — Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez are recovering from their injuries but are not yet ready to start for Colorado.

Gonzalez was held out of the starting lineup for the third straight game on Wednesday night against the Braves after he bruised his right wrist on Sunday. Manager Jim Tracy says Gonzalez is available as a pinch-hitter, pinch-runner or defensive replacement.

Tulowitzki was held out for the second straight day after leaving Monday night’s game with a strained quadriceps. Tracy says he is “very encouraged” by Tulowitzki’s progress, though the shortstop still is not ready to run.
