If you were worried the sunshine had left us for good, here's some news to brighten your day: Those pesky clouds are expected to lift just in time for the weekend.

Forecasters predict the cloudiness to taper off by afternoon, with a high of 69, according to the National Weather Service. Tomorrow and Sunday are expected to be warmer, with temperatures topping off both days at 76.

A few lingering clouds could persist during the weekend -- but nothing like the forecast for Monday: Mostly cloudy with a high of 72. Ho-hum.
