Letter: Follow lead of most cities: Set ban

The Columbian

Once again, we endured the dreaded holiday. The bombs and other fireworks went off a week before and a week after the Fourth and late into the night. It is like a war zone in my neighborhood and the danger of property being set on fire was a real concern.

I don’t understand why fireworks are not banned from public use and limited only to approved areas by people who know how to manage them.

Most other cities have figured that out.

What’s the deal here?
