SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Spokane police fired several rounds of tear gas into a home to end a standoff with suspects in a robbery-kidnapping investigation.
KREM reports police went to the home Monday night, but the suspects refused to come out. After the tear gas, one suspect surrendered about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday. The second was found in the basement about 5 a.m. and taken into custody.
Police say two suspects lured victims to the home on June 17 and held them at gunpoint while their car was ransacked in a search for drugs.
