Police report 3 explosions in Indian financial hub

MUMBAI, India (AP) — Police say three explosions have happened at busy locations in India’s business capital of Mumbai.

An official at the city’s Police Control Room said one blast was the crowded neighborhood of Dadar in central Mumbai. The others were at the famed jewelry market Jhaveri Bazaar and the busy business district of Opera House.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of office policy.

There were no immediate details about casualties or injuries. No other details were immediately available.
