SEATTLE (AP) — More shots were fired Thursday night in south Seattle, less than a block from where friends and relatives gathered in a candlelight vigil for a pregnant 19-year-old woman gunned down in her car. KING-TV reports no one was hit in the latest shooting.
Police are still looking for a man they say shot four people late Wednesday night, including Tanaya Gilbert. The young woman’s aunt told KING that Gilbert was several months pregnant.
Police say she was in the driver’s seat of her car along with her cousin when both were shot at point-blank range. A 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old in another car were also wounded.
Gilbert was attending community college.
Two of the injured were treated at Harborview Medical Center and released. The third is reported in satisfactory condition.
