Voter registration deadline looms

Washington residents have until Monday to submit mail-in or online registration forms to vote in the Aug. 16 primary election.
Mail-in registration forms must be postmarked by July 18.
Online applications, available at www.clarkvotes.org, have to be submitted by midnight the same day.
Any change of address for currently registered voters also must be submitted by Monday’s deadline.
Residents who are not registered to vote anywhere in Washington have more time. Those citizens can register in person by Monday, Aug. 8, by appearing in person at the Clark County elections department at 1408 Franklin St. in Vancouver.
