TODAY

WOODLAND ASSEMBLY OF GOD will host a free community event July 16-22 at 360 Gun Club Road, Woodland. Activities include a barbecue, games for children and a gospel music fest featuring The Grassy Creek Bluegrass Band, noon to 8 p.m. July 16. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:30 a.m. in the tent, followed by the Gospel Jubilee at 6 p.m. There will be outdoor revival meetings, with guest speaker Doug McMurray of Vancouver, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. July 18-22. SUNDAY

ABUNDANT LIVING CONFERENCE, with an old-fashioned Camp Meeting Revival emphasis, begins at 6 p.m. July 17 at the Orchards Bible Conference Center, Northeast 107th Avenue and Covington Road. The conference will continue at 7 p.m. July 18-23, with the final rally at 6 p.m. July 24. The guest evangelist is the Rev. Gary Bond of Sturgis, Mich. The Rev. Bruce Kennard of Vancouver will be in charge of music. The event is sponsored by the Clark County Holiness Association. The meetings are nondenominational and free. 360-882-7206.

STRATEGIC COUPONING CLASS, 7-8:30 p.m. July 18 at St. John Lutheran Church, 11005 N.E. Highway 99. The Angel Food Ministries Team will present the class, free with a donation of five non-perishable food items which will go to Vancouver FISH. UPCOMING

FREE CLARK COUNTY ALL-CHURCH PICNIC, 1 to 6 p.m. July 31 at Pearson Air Museum, 1115 E. Fifth St., hosted by Detour Ministries. More than 100 churches and organizations will participate. Guests will include Mike Williams and local bands, Sons of Day and Elliot. Radio stations will also broadcast from the event. The all-church picnic began in 2009. http://www.allchurchpicnic.com.

MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH will sponsor the Tee ‘n’ Tea benefit golf tournament and tea, an event to benefit community charities. The event will be July 30 at Tri-Mountain Golf Course in Ridgefield. The church supports two local food banks, Ridgefield’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors and the Lewis River Mobile Food Bank through a monthly program called Food on the 4th.
