Letter: Tolerance is only required once a year

Personally, I am tired of people complaining about a once-a-year celebration for Independence Day. I sure hope they do not receive a free trip to Times Square on New Year’s Eve. I would love to know how many of these needless complainers enjoyed fireworks as a kid? Although I am very noise sensitive, I sure enjoyed them in my youth and still can tolerate them around the Fourth of July. Get a white noise machine, you spoil sports.
