China wins 4th diving gold at worlds

SHANGHAI (AP) — China maintained its diving dominance at the world championships, winning its fourth gold medal and fifth overall.

Wang Hao and Chen Ruolin easily won the women’s 10-meter synchro Monday, the host country’s second gold of the day. Earlier, Li Shixin won the men’s 1-meter and teammate He Min took the silver.

Wang and Chen totaled 362.58 points.

Australia’s Alexandra Croak and Melissa Wu earned the silver at 325.92. Christin Steuer and Nora Subschinski of Germany took bronze with 316.29.
