GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) -- Police in Gresham say a man was stabbed but was able to walk himself to a hospital across the street.
Officers responded to reports of fighting at an apartment complex Sunday night. Officials at Mt. Hood Medical Center told police that they sent the 22-year-old victim to a trauma center in Portland. Police say he suffered a stab or slice wound to his torso. His condition was unknown.
Gresham and Troutdale police officers detained all the people believed to have been involved in the fight. They were trying to determine what caused the incident and whether the suspect and victim knew each other before the fight.
