PITTSBURGH (AP) — A western Pennsylvania church will be the site of Ben Roethlisberger’s wedding next Saturday.
The Ohio Township police department say the wedding will take place at Christ Church at Grove Farm.
The 29-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback grew up in Findlay, Ohio. He is marrying 26-year-old Ashley Harlan of New Castle.
Police told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that half the department — about a dozen officers — will be working an eight- to 10-hour wedding detail and will be assisted by other departments.
Pete Lawrence, a facilities worker employed by the church, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette the hundreds of guests will need to present photo IDs.
