ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) — Aberdeen police and firefighters say they have removed a large stash of fireworks from a south Aberdeen home.
Fire Battalion Chief Bill Mayne told KXRO-Radio firefighters assisted the police department as they served a warrant on the home Tuesday night.
The property management company had notified the department of suspicious activity at the building. Mayne says two truckloads of fireworks were removed from the building. He says the fireworks were all stored in one room of the home and had there been a fire, the effects could have been devastating.
