COLVILLE, Wash. (AP) — A 63-year-old man has died after being shot twice while riding an off-road vehicle near Colville.

The Stevens County sheriff says Gordon R. Feist was pronounced dead Monday from two gunshot wounds he suffered on Sunday.

Deputies who responded to the crash of his ATV south of Colville discovered Feist had been shot twice. It was unclear if he was shot before or after the crash, but authorities suspect it was before.

Investigators have no suspects, but they do not believe the shooting was accidental.
