MOUNT ANGEL, Ore. (AP) — Police say one man has been fatally shot in a shuttle van parked outside a residence in the small town of Mount Angel, Ore. Marion County sheriff’s spokesman Don Thomson said officers were interviewing a second man, described as a person of interest.

The shuttle driver was unhurt and was being questioned as a witness.

The spokesman says the airport shuttle apparently was returning the victim to his home when the shooting occurred shortly before 1 p.m. Friday. The shooter fired from outside the van.

Thomson says there is a “domestic relationship” between the dead man and the person of interest but he could not immediately say what that was.

None of those involved was immediately identified. Mount Angel police and sheriff’s detectives are investigating.

Mount Angel is south of Portland.
