ARLINGTON, Wash. (AP) — Arlington city officials say a 26-year-old husband and his 22-year-old wife have been arrested for a string of daytime home burglaries.
The Everett Herald reports that the duo was arrested on Thursday by police after a resident called authorities while a burglary was happening earlier that day. The witness was able to provide police a license plate number and a description of the getaway car.
Arlington city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield says the burglaries happened during the daytime, usually at homes with backdoors facing bushes or faced alleyways.
