MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Relatives of Lorenzen Wright will hold a candlelight vigil in Memphis to remember the slain former NBA player.
The vigil is scheduled for Thursday, which is one year after his body was found in a field in southeast Memphis. Wright was shot multiple times, but police have not made an arrest in the case.
The 34-year-old Wright played high school and college basketball in Memphis. He also played for five NBA teams, including the Memphis Grizzlies.
The vigil will be held at the Outdoor Plaza of FedExForum.
