Cascade Highlands couple wins neighborhood appreciation

Cascade Highlands — Toni and Willy Wyffels went above and beyond the call of good neighborhood when they borrowed a trailer and scooped up leaves that were all over Southeast 160th Avenue. They hauled their cargo to H&H Wood Recyclers and used a coupon to dump them there. The couple has also trimmed bushes, picked up trash, phoned in abandoned tires and generally worked to keep their neighborhood looking good. For that, the Cascade Highlands Neighborhood Association recently voted to thank them with a “Vancouver Sparkles” community pride award.
