INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings will stick with their original training camp plans and report on Sunday.
The NFL said both teams would open camp on Friday. But Colts spokesman Avis Roper says teams can report later than the date issued by the league office. Both teams intend to do just that.
Indianapolis is scheduled to practice at Anderson University, 45 miles northeast of Indy, from Aug. 1 through Aug. 18. The Vikings will hold their camp in Mankato, about 80 miles southwest of Minneapolis.
