Interstate 84 eastbound still has the right lane closed 11 miles west of Cascade Locks 34 after a commercial tanker truck crashed Sunday night.

Oregon State Police troopers continue to investigate the truck that had ODOT, cleanup crews, fire and hazardous materials response teams out all night and this morning, according to a press release.

The tanker collided with a guard rail about 5 p.m. and rolled onto its side, blocking both eastbound lanes. It was reported to be carrying 3,000 gallons of gasoline. The gasoline began to leak and equipment had to be used to pump the remaining fuel out of the damaged trailer.

The driver John T. Rollins Jr., of Portland suffered minor injuries.

The estimated traffic delay this morning is about 20 minutes, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation’s website.
