YWCA receives two grants to help children

Shumway — YWCA Clark County received two grants from the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington. The first grant for $14,572 was awarded by the Community Giving Fund to the Court Appointed Special Advocates Program, which will increase the capacity to advocate for abused and neglected children in Clark County.
The second grant of $5,000 was awarded by the Children’s Trust Fund to the YWCA’s Y’s Care Children’s Program to initiate the Music Matters Project, which will provide a music-focused curriculum for preschool children.
